Définitivement un endroit à découvrir. À proximité de la rue principale et du lac. Le propriétaire Simon a été tout simplement incroyable dé notre arrivée jusqu’à notre départ, un véritable passionné et que dire de ces déjeuners très original. Une femme à découvrir
Un sans faute.. un hôte super sympathique, qui du point de vue culinaire est un artiste en soi. Le meilleur déjeuner de B&B qui m'ai été donné de déguster. De plus c'est sans parler du souper 4 services que notre hôte Simon nous offre le soir. C’etait divin. Bref une place a retenir et un incontournable si vous êtes un amateur de gastronomie culinaire et d'une ambiance très cosy 😋. Je le recommande fortement.

The hotel is very easy to find and has off-street parking. The owner, Simon, could hardly be friendlier or more helpful. He told us that, as a chef, he is an artist. At breakfast our first morning there, we found he was not exaggerating. The rooms are smallish but very comfortable. The wifi was easily logged into and was plenty speedy. The shower in our room was very European — read "snug", but we were able to look into other rooms (on our first night there, we were the hotel's only guests) and saw that the shower facilities were roomier. We live not too very far from Magog and, on future visits there, would definitely stay at Maison de Ville again.

Nous y reviendrons bientôt
Nous avons aimé notre visite à La maison de ville, les chambres sont bien décorées et très propre. l'insonorisation est bonne puisque nous n'avons pas été dérangé par les déplacements de nos voisins de chambres. Nous y reviendrons certainement. Aussi, il y a une borne électrique sur la près près de la maison. Simon, chef cuisinier et propriétaire de la maison est très avenant c'est lui qui prépare l'excellent déjeuner de sa création du moment.

Endroit fabuleux ou il a ete rres agreable de poser ses valisesnpoir 2 nuits. SIMON, est super accuiellant, tjs pret a rendre service. En cuisine, un vrai chef et nous n avons eu l occasion que de le voir a l'œuvre poir le petit-déjeuner, c est tout dure si vous avez l occasion d y avoir un repas du soir. Chambres tres chouettes et concept artistique fort present dansnla maison. A faire et a refaire dans les Cantons de l Est a MAGOG.

The host was amazing and also a great chef. Breakfasts were something to look forward to. The property is in a safe neighborhood right in the heart Magog. Very walkable to great dining and Magog is a nice small town. Also, in driving distance to good attractions for skiing, hiking, wine tasting.

The owner has exquisite taste in decor and he is an amazing chef. I was not expecting two-course gourmet breakfasts, but they were delicious and beautifully plated. He is affable but not overbearing. The shower was hot and strong and the bed was super cozy. I would definitely recommend this and would love to come again!

B&B with a professional chef!
Simon is an excellent host and a professional chef. Our 3 breakfasts were all exceptional both in flavour and in presentation! The house is an older home in need of some paint and repair, which is currently being done. It is well situated within walking distance to the lake and many restaurants. We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this B&B and would recommend it to friends.

Clean rooms, nice breakfasts, and downtown
We would definitely stay there again. The rooms were clean and the decor was artistic. We were close to downtown and enjoyed walking around Magog. Breakfasts were lovely.

Best place to stay in Magog!
Best place to stay in Magog! The home was clean, the family operating it was extremely friendly, the breakfast was fabulous! The home was very clean and very nicely decorated. There were beautiful details everywhere I looked. The common areas, the hallways and stairs, and the rooms. My room was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable. The room had it's own bath and toilet. The shower and bath were very nice. The room had heat and air conditioning. The common areas were very nice, including a sitting room on the second floor, a deck off that room and the front porch. The dining area was very comfortable. The breakfast was worth the trip by itself. It was 5-star, not just pancakes and scrambled eggs. The family operating the home (Simon and his parents) are super nice, friendly and welcoming. Simon is an outstanding cook. Parking was a little tight but there is enough off-street parking for three or four cars and then parking on the street if needed. The B&B is only one block from the main activity downtown. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Magog and strongly recommend it.

La maison de ville est une super auberge. L'accueil était impeccables, Simon est très gentil et nous a très bien reçu. La maison est une belle maison centenaire, très bien entretenue et très propre. La chambre était très agréable avec sa salle de bain privée. La literie st très confortable. La maison est très bien située dans Magog, proche de la rue principale et des restaurants tout en étant au calme. Mention spéciale pour les petits déjeuners juste exceptionnels de Simon!! C'est juste parfait. Aussi, si vous avez l'occasion de dîner à l'auberge un soir, le repas en 4 services préparé par Simon vaut le détour!! Juste excellent, produits frais du marché, bref digne d'un grand restaurant et tout ça dans le confort de la belle salle à manger du gîte. Bref, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et retournerons très certainement chez Simon pour nos prochains séjours dans le coin de Magog.

The place was very nice and clean. Centrally located, can walk around to all the hot spots. The host was fantastic, great food and hospitality. The host also provided us with tickets to the festival that was going on. Great advice on local restaurants and shops. The stay was very pleasant, and would book again at this place.

This property is deceiving from the outside. It’s a cute building on the outside but the paint was peeling and the back driveway area a bit cluttered. Inside is beautifully and tastefully decorated - it’s very charming. Simon is a wonderful host and a superb chef. I can’t recommend the dinner and breakfast highly enough. He is such a talented chef. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his bed and bistro. It was an experience and both my husband and I are so pleased we went.

Un B&B distinctif
Séjour extraordinaire. L’endroit est tranquille et incite à la détente. Le propriétaire-chef cuisinier est sympathique, respectueux, drôle et agréable. En plus, les plats qu’ils préparent sont délicieux. Il utilise les produits du terroir local. J’y retournerais et je vous le conseil.

Simon is an impeccable host and an amazing cook. We not only ate amazing and inventive breakfasts the two mornings we spent at La Maison de Ville, but we also took advantage of the option to have dinner there. We joined two other couples for a 5 course meal that was absolutely incredible. La Maison de Ville is a block up from Rue La Principal, the main shopping and eating area of Magog. Our cozy room was furnished nicely with lovely amenities. We would definitely stay again.

Absolument parfait! Superbe maison d’époque, magnifiquement entretenu et décoré avec soin. D’ailleurs, pour les amateurs d’objets anciens, ceux-ci peuvent être achetés s’ils vous plaisent. Salle de bain complète dans la chambre, rare dans le B&B, avec bain sur pattes. Propreté exemplaire. Bien situé, sur une rue résidentielle à côté de la distillerie Cherry River, à un coin de rue de la rue Principale, et à 5 minutes de marche du Lac Memphrémagog. Et que dire de Simon, chef-propriétaire, de sa belle énergie et de ses déjeuners « gastronomiques »? Vous allez l’adorer lui aussi.

Merveilleux séjour à la maison de ville – Bed & bistro ! La maison est parfaitement située dans Magog. Nous n’avons pas eu à utiliser la voiture pendant notre séjour ! Nous avons apprécié le décor chaleureux et la propreté de la maison ! Simon le proprio est très accueillant et sympathique ! Le déjeuner à lui seul vaut le détour ! tout à fait délicieux ! L'hôte est simplement exceptionnel. Ceci n'est pas un Bed&Breakfast standard. Nous avons eu le plaisir de déguster les meilleurs déjeunés du Québec. Simon joue tous les rôles dans l'auberge et y met tout son coeur. Je recommande fortement cet auberge.

This is a gem. Don’t book an overpriced hotel- you will not get the same cozily and tastefully designed spaces. You won’t have the same proximity to the Main Street, groceries and pharmacy, and if you do book that overpriced resort- you won’t have the same warm hospitality and BEST breakfast you have ever had in your entire life! We’re already planning our next trip.

We had a wonderful stay! It was our first time in a bed and breakfast so didn't know what to expect. Simon was an absolute awesome host in every way. The breakfast served was beyond fabulous and we would definitely recommend staying there! Loved having the front terrace to use.
