"Stayed at this hotel for one night. Went to another hotel in Yala. Was not pleased with what I saw. My family and I turned around and went back to stay here for another night. Very clean hotel, very polite staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay. Highly recommend staying here if you are ever in Weerawila. "Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari. Only bit of advice is dont go too late for breakfast or buffet evening meal, as its all been hoovered up. Would recommend and if we find ourself in same area again, will re book. "

"We used the hotels as a base for a safari tour and it was an ideal base. The location is great, being a short walk (1500m) out of Tissa. Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive. We had a few minor issues, such as a very minor leak (understandable as the build has recently had work done), but the team addressed promptly and properly. Don’t let that put you off because the hotel was very clean, comfortable and had AC, cold fridge and served good food. Breakfast on the veranda was memorable, it is such a beautiful setting, the omelette and fruit was delicious and so well presented. We walked along the lake each evening and enjoyed seeing the locals spending time and having fun there. I have added a few photos for information. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel and wish the team well as they definitely looked after us."

"We stay group 18 person have 8 rooms. Everything is good.Is like 4 star hotel. Good food nice breakfast no complaints Definitely.Recommend for anybody to stay in this hotel."
