"Awesome historic hotel! It was well maintained and kept a lot of its historic charm. The staff was very helpful and the hotel is located right in town, making it walkable to everything. They have a lot of information on the first floor about the history of the inn. Will definitely stay again when we come back to the area!"

"Loved the location, decor, and cleanliness. Friendly and helpful staff. Went above and beyond by offering us a breakfast item since we’d be leaving early morning for another hike before breakfast start time. The only blip was operating the TV. We were desperate to veg and watch a movie after hiking a 4000 footer. You need to download an app on your phone and “cast” it to the TV. The owner was super helpful and trying to figure out the issue but it wasn’t solved. It would’ve been nice to just turn on the TV and watch it. If you need an instruction list for a TV, it’s too complicated. Maybe others will have an easier time"

"The cabin was clean and comfortable and the area was quiet. The view was great, Mount Manodnock I think. It rained a lot while we were there but each day we were able to see the progression of Beaver Brook Falls. It was beautiful. Each evening when we arrived we could see some candles lit in the cemetery at the property entrance. We never ran out of hot water and there was plenty of lighting for our cabin when we chose to use it. Cellphone service was better than I expected on both AT&T and Metro T-Mobile.."

"Converted farm property made for a great getaway. Tucked away in the hills but full service restaurant, hiking and biking trails provided gave us several options to stay active. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return here!"

"The place is awesome, just a little tough when stay during the nights when it’s a little cold that we need to keep waking up consistently to add wood to the fire, it is a fun experience tho, but other than that the place is awesome"
