The air conditioning in the common dorm areas is ferocious - like a fridge! Even if you turn off your temperature control in the pod, you're still absolutely freezing which made for a pretty uncomfortable night. Also the property doesn't do enough to enforce silence late and night and early each morning. Some guests are just terribly ignorant, talking at full volume all the time and clattering and banging things in lockers. The general kitchen area is nice - good to make yourself a peppermint tea before bed and everything is clean. The bathroom in the dorm could be cleaner though.

After booking a major hotel in the area and leaving after ten minutes I fell upon this gem. Right on the sea front so walkable to everything. Staff were great, shower really good and the hotel very clean. Small coffee/ tea self service in reception and a few breakfast pastries. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

Great value for money

Perfect location for beach-goers. Cool capsules (though somewhat cheap plastic and very thin mattresses) but fun experience for me and my daughter. Clean bathrooms, good dining area with pans/cutlery/microwaves, fun gaming area and best of all: a spa for 24 EUR for an hour!

This was our first capsule style hotel. Overall it was great. Wish there was a bit more sound insulation within the capsules and a second outlet. A bit more airflow/AC within the capsules would be great - we did not like being inside with the door open (person above us was sneezing/sounded congested). It was close enough to the beach, cafes, and just a short walk into the old quarter. All necessities were easily walkable. Was really impressed by the staff, they were knowledgeable and clearly maintained the place well. Loved that your basics could be purchased directly in the common area (food, toiletries) if you absolutely needed it. The addition of being able to rent the hot tub (jacuzzi), stand up paddle boards, scooters, and bikes was cool even if we didn't utilize them. Absolutely loved the toilets, just wish the communal bathrooms had them too! We also loved the interactive mirrors.

The sleeping pod was too hot and we couldn’t adjust the temperature. The pod we were in had damage inside and the TV did not work. We were able to store are luggage before check in and after check out for about four hours. The was a great feature. Overall would stay again if the price was right.

Good for a short stay

Overall, Futurotel was good for the purpose of our stay. We arrived in Malaga after midnight and needed a place with 24 hr checkin that was clean and safe. To that end, it met its purpose. To have stayed any longer would have been tough. The pods are in a dorm and whilst each one is securely locked and you have a locker for your bags, there is absolutely zero soundproofing. Highly recommend ear plugs which can be bought at reception. The pods are clean and have an aircon vent running through. The door for each pod locks from the inside and has a key card to unlock from the outside that also pairs with your locker. Overall, it was a good place to stay for one night if you arrive late in Malaga or are passing through.

I loved this place. After my review I’ll probably never be able to get a free room/capsule again. Normally I don’t read reviews and if I do I don’t take them on fully and this time I’m glad I didn’t. I booked one night and stayed four. Great value and low season also. The area is fab. Bus straight from airport through Malaga and 4 mins walk and you are there. The staff were lovely and always busy working. I had read something about check in taking a long time but eh they checked me in and showed me around bringing me to my capsule room and showed me how to use key etc. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and I never got this treatment. The place is spotless and the cleaners are always busy. The showers were fab and the selection of shampoo and body wash would put the Ritz and Hilton hotel to shame. Now loved the heated toilet seat in the room, The radio on the mirror if you are taken a shower, the kitchen and games area was also super. Loved the meat restaurant across the road on the corner. Pricy but fabulous. I went with 2 starters and the roasted potato was huge. There were great offers also for jacuzzi time celebrating birthdays etc on there premises. The bed was a little thin, hard but you can get that at any hotel, it’s their choice of mattress but loved the Netflix availability.

Everything was clean, but aditude was terrible, when I arrived. And worst think they was asking passport exchange the ps5 controller I was like why don't you ask for money instead not passports. They keep ps controles In shell so no ones get them okay but when they ask and keep your passport in shell but no ones gonna lock your passport in safe it's just gonna be standing shelf so fair dont give your passport it's unlawful
