The Delmon International is an excellent hotel; however, on the night of Thursday, December 1st, I was kept awake until 3:00 a.m. by loud music and noise in the clubs on the ground floor. After 3:00 a.m., a loud-mouthed neighbor kept me awake for three more hours. Staying at this hotel on a Thursday night, it appears, will not lead to a good night's sleep.

The Delmon is not for everybody. It’s older and could use some refurbishment. However the staff is some of the best. And the rock and roll club is too notch. It’s not my last time visiting

Good location near the souq
Great location near the old Souq in Manama. Will probably be my go to hotel whenever I find myself in Bahrain. Staff also very friendly and helpful

A very good value short stay
I stayed at this hotel for more than 20 years. The management is improving something everytime I stay. This time the internet upgrade.

2 Nights in the Delmon International.
I stayed in the Delmon International for 2 Night. Overall I had a OK experience. Staff where friendly and polite and allowed me a late checkout. Room was clean but both the room and the hotel itself are showing signs of there age now. There was no Tea and Coffee facilities in the room but I asked reception and one was provided for me. Shower pressure was very poor too. Most of the facilities where closed due to the current situation. Plenty of cheap eating in the local area. Best Breakfast I've had in Bahrain yet. Thank You

1. Not a place for families or new tourists: They didn't let a food delivery guy come to my room but there was a lady in the 2nd floor lobby offering 'her services' 2. Nothing eatable Not a 'good' menue For my whole stay i ate out, twice i picked up the menue to order but couldn't come to order because there wasn't anything particulraly good 3. Very loud music untill 2AM There's night club on ground floor that goes on an on untill morning 2AM. No way you can sleep before that time 4. Houekeeping was good Clean and clear and fast. Room was good as well

reception was very unprofessional very slow rooms are very old ac premature has no control only the fan speed house keeping never replied guests coming for a meeting were asked to pay some 5 BD to be allowed to come to meet me breakfast as per my booking was as addressed free were the front desk rejected and insisted that i pay 4 BD to have it in short it was a disaster experience in this hotel

Location is fantastic, right next to lots of shopping and Manama Souq buzzling with activities. Limited parking but valet parking available. Hotel had ample time to get our room ready as we turned up early, but went to walk around and returned much later after check-in time, but was given a smoking room when I specifically requested for a non-smoking room, and front desk didn't even ask or tell us it was a smoking room. Tried to bear with the room initially, until even the pillow was reeked with smoking smell, and upon calling the front desk did I find out that it was a smoking room. 1st response was that they were out of non-smoking rm, and when I insisted that I booked a non-smoking rm, agreed to move us an hour later. Other than this, rest of stay was ok since it was nice walking around the area.

Old hotel in the old part of the city.,I like the location because I can walk everywhere I need to go, gold shops and all......the shopping at the mall is the same over the world. Bahrain has that too. Many upscale int shops a cheap ride away. Delmon is a great choice for me..good rest.

Cheap hotel but it has some negatives. First, it is old enough and smells bad. Second, it is nosy at night until the nightclub close.

Basic sleep and good breakfast.
A good location. I like to visit the Sheraton so itbis walking distance. And the breakfast is good. It is quite smoky. And people do smoke in the hotel. And there is a nightclub underneath, so not for light sleepers . Not a family place. Alot of visits from tbe working girls. Okay for a couple of nights stay over. Not more than that.

Insulted.
The afternoon staff was very friendly and accommodating. That was until I met the night crew. Just assumed my girlfriend was a lady of the night and treated her as so. I'll never stay here again.

Better than many reviews I read about the place. No negatives in the experience. Room service was good and fast. Room was comfortable and clean. Internet worked fine. Room was quiet. No disruption from guests or visitors. Location was crowded and was glad to be getting dropped off. No idea about parking there.

Delmon International Hotel
Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was very firm which I greatly appreciated. Poo, area very dilapidated with threadbare outdoor carpeting. There were 3 problems with my stay: (1) The pool was closed because of a concert that was being set up for the evening. There was no mention of that on the web site; (2) I stayed on a Friday night and the noise from the night clubs in the hotel was horrific. It is impossible to get any sleep before 2:00 AM when the night clubs close; (3) The Wi-Fi was very very poor, even though the router antenna was outside my room. In order to get a signal for more than a few seconds, I had to put my chair in the hallway and use my laptop directly under the Wi-Fi antenna. DO NOT use this hotel if you need Wi-Fi access. The breakfast food was barely acceptable. And one additional note: This is definitely NOT a place for families. The hallways are frequented by Asian ladies who will boldly seek your company. Be forewarned.

My bathroom floor flooded while in the shower, happened within first hour of checking in. Maintenance quickly resolved the problem though. You will be approached quickly by the local "talent ". Not a lot of eating establishments that are close.

The rooms aren't renovated. Rusty bathroom sinks and bathtubs. And the driver who came to pick up, didn't even greet us while we came out. Snapped a finger and pointed us towards the car, offering no help with luggage also.

Over all stay at Delmon
The over all stay of the hotel was good, staff are very helpful and always gives smile, buffet break fast was good which was complimentary, room cleanliness was good, also the hotel pick and drop was complimentary, the hotel location is very nice every thing available within reach.

The Delmon Again This Year
I really like this hotel. I've spent my summer vacation there several times, and I'm always a little sad when I finally have to leave. The hotel has maintained an experienced staff who recognize me as a regular summer guest.

staff is ignoring that your are talking them with masked faces and their eyes looking around to avoid helping you. rooms have no warming facility it was too cold , i still have common cold till now there is no specific rooms for smoking, do whatever you like in room , they have no control. i checked 2 days early for emergency, but they refused to refund the balance as well as they refused to provide me with invoice.for my payment?????

The showers in the morning had no force. Felt like the water was barely pouring out, and with great difficulty I took a shower. Overall the room was 5/10...typical 3 star hotel. Bed sheets were clean with carpets being dark and a bit worn out.

Too Much Noise!
At check-in, I asked for a quiet room, but the hotel did not deliver. Noise from the bars on the ground floor kept me awake until after 2:00 a.m., and then at 6:00 a.m., hammering, pounding and clanging took over. Needless to say, I didn't get enough sleep. However, the staff were excellent. They were friendly and helpful. If I stay here again, it'll be because of the staff.
