Great Location for Manchester City Hotel was very clean, but it is tired and could do with modernising. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

I arrived at 4 am after a United match away. I forgot to book an extea day, but handicapped mate had room available at motel. Staff refused to let me stay with them or even sit in the lobby until opening hours! Disgraceful! And I had just completed a 7-night stay at the motel with no issues.I am 69 years old and they literally threw me out into the dark, wet night! I am so upset with them. The two, young motel employees kept saying that I must leave or they could lose their jobs! No common sense, no compassion, no caring. I will NEVER recommend this chain to anyone and will make it a mission to let travelers everywhere know of this incident and avoid the Travel Lodge Ancoats in Manchester.

We kozen voor een simpele accommodatie en dat was dit hotel. We kozen voor een hotel met gratis WiFi, helaas kreeg je maar 30 min gratis WiFi daarna tegen betaling. Wat ik miste in de kamer was haardroger en theezakjes. Voor de rest was de kamer ok met badkuip.

Rommet var betalt og bestilt, men fikk ikke rommet

Dette var en forferdelig opplevelse. Rommet var booket og betalt flere uker i forveien. Jeg reiste med min sønn og skulle sjekke inn - litt for tidlig på dagen. Det var ikke mulig å sjekke inn kl 14 - greit nok - men jeg sa vi kom sent, og da var svaret: Her kan man sjekke inn 24/7. Så vi satte igjen bagasjen bak disken og trodde alt var i orden. Da vi kom tilbake over midnatt, fikk vi beskjed om at det ikke var noen ledige rom. Vi fikk heller ingen hjelp til å finne rom på nytt hotell - og vi har ikke fått pengene tilbake. Dette hotellet var overhodet ikke hjelpsomme, og kan rett og slett ikke stoles på. Anbefales ikke!!!!

Zona vicino al centro, personale gentile, stanza abbastanza pulita, corridoio d'entrata alle camere non pulito, camera al primo piano quindi molto rumorosa per via della vicinanza alla strada. Non male per il prezzo.

Manchester Je T'aime

The room is spacious clean and tidy. The staff are super friendly with local tips and during excellent abundant English breakfast. Just around all the North quarter spots in 5 minutes walk and 15 minutes walk to Picadilly station. only the traffic might cause a bit shake feeling now dunno why since I stayed on the top floor. Unfortunately the FREE wifi is not included but only 30 minutes per day.

Great staff

Interesting mix of guests from all countries staying for all sorts of reasons. Staff were wonderful especially Julian the manager. Excellent breakfast.

Bra hotell som är rent och har bra sängar.

Hotellet är bra och läget är rätt centralt. Rumet rent och rymligt och det enda som störde var oljud nere från gatan fastän mitt rum var på 4:e våningen så hörde man trafiken och blåljus sirener tydligt. På andra Travelodge i stan är det mycket bättre isolerat med extra fönster. Frukosten typiskt engelsk så inget speciellt. Kaffet var hemskt.

Overall a nice place to stay

It was a very nice location, only couple of mints walk to the city centre. The breakfast was alright. There wasn’t a lot of food to choose between. The noise from the streets could be very annoying sometimes.

Travelodge Manchester Ancoats

At a 5 minute walk from Piccadilly Gardens it was very central. Even thought you are just on the fringes of the Northern Quarter it was a quiet hotel and I got a great nights sleep. The staff were very friendly and there was security on the door at night which was reassuring seeing as it's so close to so many late night venues. Also had the best tv service & channel selection of any hotel I've stayed in for a long time. I didn't eat in the hotel but the restaurant area looked clean and comfortable. The only negative things I have to say is the lift was painfully slow and that there was no shampoo / body wash in the bathroom.

Hotel voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Bij het uitchecken ‘s morgens om 6uur kregen we nog een ‘coffee to go” mee.. Zeer klantvriendelijk dus!
