"The self-service check-in process far too longwinded. Had to input all contact details even though the booking was made through Hotels.com. The text informing me of our room number didn’t materialise. A receptionist had to sort this out which negated the self-service check-in process.
The “deluxe” double room was basic. The shower was the worst that we’ve ever had at an hotel. At maximum, the temperature was tepid at best. The shower was the overhead type (no flexible hose option) over the bath. A rather dated shower curtain was utilised, rather than a decent glass screen.
The hotel was very convenient and the staff were polite.
This is a basic hotel at best."
