Decent Mini golf and restaurant/bar on property and free kayaking across the bay full of nature like a nursery for all the upcoming sealife families, superior water quality and views. This place exceeded our expectations! My husband and I stayed at the Hammerhead, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The views from both our bedroom and dining area were absolutely amazing, creating such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and perfect for a getaway. The ladies at the front desk were also wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed kayaking, and although we didn’t have enough time to ride the bikes, we will definitely do that next time! The location was perfect and offered plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy outdoor activities. We are already planning to come back next year with our family to do some fishing and enjoy even more of what Marathon has to offer. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a visit to Marathon, Florida. We had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to return!

Really quaint old fashioned dock side setting and accomodation. Felt very relaxed and comfortable. Great bed and beautiful view. Helpful staff and friendly- good recommendations for food. Only initial disappointment is there is building work currently happening out the front of the property which we weren’t aware of but no disturbance from it.

I loved the quaint room with the decor. I like that it had a separate bedroom from the living area and kitchen. The room needs a good cleaning, especially the bathroom. The caulk around the toilet and I front of shower looked really bad. The material couch was dirty as was the material on the seats of the chairs in the breakfast area around the table. Leather or faux leather couches would be much better. The pull out couch bed had a broken hinge which made it lopsided so my son couldn’t sleep on it either night. He had to just lie in the dirty couch with no sheets. I loved being on the ground floor because both my husband and I have a hard time going up stairs.

This property had a lot of construction going on so it wasn’t very attractive. The room itself was great.. spacious, clean and our second floor room had a nice balcony where you could see a sliver of the ocean. There was no ice maker or ice machines so you had to purchase at the front desk. Stairs up to the second floor were a little steep and the left hand railing ran out a few steps from the top. Not good when you’re carrying things up and down. The pool is small so we didn’t use it with some rowdy people in it already. The outdoor lounge area wasn’t appealing but you could see the water. There is a convenient restaurant attached to the property with good food, drinks and nice staff. The property is just kind of a jumbled mess so we wouldn’t stay here again. However if you just need a stay over like we did, the beds were comfortable, room clean and safe. We stayed in Swordfish.

We enjoyed kayaking and walking around. The hotel was very good, quiet, clean, and in a very good location.
