"My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Schwarzmatt for several days, and couldn't not have felt better taken care of by the warm, friendly and excellent staff. Both the hotel and restaurant staff are sincerely caring about the quality of service they deliver to guests. On top of that the Schwarzmatt is a lovely property, meticulously maintained. Highly recommended."

"We had an event to attend in Basel and we picked Carat hotel (in Germany) . Such a good decision, big clean, light room, very clean and comfortable but above all very good service from the staff. Leon at the reception helped us with all our needs and George organized an amazing ack breakfast for my wife who had to leave very early in the morning. Their in house restaurant Hacienda is very good also. we had breakfast there. "

"No hot water, Front desk didn’t give informations Good enough for visitors who don‘t know the place. Some of the front desk employee don‘t have knowledge of the area. "

"We were here last year as well. The hotel has a restaurant as well. The spa in the hotel is nice. There is also a public spa down the street which folks enjoy for a fee."

"Great location, friendly staff, comfortable room. Internet was fast, when it worked. Very good breakfast. Not a lot of parking, and a bit tight, but considering it's in the heart of town it's ok. Lots of good restaurants nearby."
