"If you're from the US and you sleep hot and like the ac pumping, you're not going to enjoy this hotel (or most in the south of France from our experience). It was mid October and we had to sleep with the doors open all night (around 50 outside at night and it was still warm). If street noise is bothersome, bring a noise machine and/or ear plugs . The water is EXTREMELY hot, like literally scalding at its hottest position. Probably every bit of 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Room was comfortable and clean. They will hold your bags if you arrive before check in. Can't speak on any other amenities. Would stay stay again in the winter only. Neighborhood reminded me of Brooklyn. Close walk to old port and tons of choices to eat. Only an 8 minute car ride to the train station"

"I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, primarily because of the incredible service. I was deeply impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff members were at all times. They are the absolute highlight of this property! The hotel is in a prime location in the Joliette district. It is just a very short stroll to the metro station—less than a few minutes away. I stayed here to attend a concert at Le Silo, and it was an easy walk of less than 15 minutes from the hotel. I also noticed the cruise ship port is right next door to the venue, making this a highly convenient spot for travelers. As for the room, it was nice and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast was also quite good. My only complaint about the room is the bathroom design. It has a partial glass shower door, which leaves the shower completely open on one side. Water gets everywhere on the floor, which doesn’t make much sense. The main area where the hotel could improve is its appearance. The property looks and feels very dated, from the exterior facade to the lobby area and front desk. Giving these spaces a modern update would elevate the guest experience, and I am sure the wonderful staff would appreciate a refreshed workspace too. Additionally, the exterior is not well-lit at night, which unfortunately makes the property look even older after dark. Overall, it is a decent place to stay with a perfect location, but a few cosmetic updates and a better shower design would make it excellent."
