"My family and I stayed at Motel 6 near the Great Highway. The location is great, with the beach right across the street, but that is where the positives end. The front desk clerk barely acknowledged us at check-in. When we walked into our room, it had a strange odor with a car freshener hanging on the mirror. The door had only a deadlock, but you could see the chain was broken off. The T.V did not work and the toilet paper dispenser was broken. The spare room had lots of scraped paint off the door and the window was open when we walked in and all we could smell was trash coming from below. The floor had quite a few soft spots and felt very thin, we were on the second floor. Very sad to say this, worst stay my family and I have ever had. "

"The room was clean, the bathroom was amazing. For being on Market street, it was quiet! "

"The kitchenette was weird. Utensils were 3 butter knives, 1 spatula, one pair of tongs and that was it. They could have easily added some disposable forks and spoons in the drawer or something. But three butter knives only ? That's weird. Also they're checking system is fully remote and over a kiosk to someone in South Asia and it is not only tedious and horrible in its efficiency but it is the reason I will probably never go back. This is my fourth day with him over the years the last Tuesdays have been horrible because it is stupid kiosk system. Mark my words they will never have repeat customers because of this. It is crap."

"Housekeeping service was terrible"

"This little motel is located in a quiet area very close to the beach. There were also few cute shops and eateries within walking distance. The staff were friendly and able to get us our rooms early after east coast flight arrivals. The rooms were spacious and I really appreciated the skylight in the bathroom on the top floor and peek of the sea from my room. The large windows were perfect although light sleepers might find it challenging with the sound of the trolley on the street below. All in all it was a lovely stay at what felt like a cute family hotel by the sea. "

"Basic quick place to stay. Have stayed a few times and it’s a nice quick stopping place. Hated the new check in through a computer"
