The beach is a 5 minute walk down the street and a convenient store is a 5 minute drive. “We had a great night stay here as a family - the rooms are really incredible, staff can't do enough for you and were so great with our young kids. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because I felt the pictures on Expedia of all the greenery and trees surrounding the rooms isn't what it looked like in real life - maybe that's on me for the season we booked a stay (?) but we weren't up among the trees like I expected from the pics, more a stay on a hilltop. “This was our second year coming to the Rip Jack villas and it was an excellent stay. Hotel staff was very kind and courteous. Rooms were clean and kept clean daily. The food in the hotel was delicious; we’re still debating who among us had the best meals. This year we traveled with a larger group and everyone had a great time. We will definitely be back next year!”

“Love the place, the pool was lovely and mostly quiet plenty of sitting available. The room was clean and well stocked with a full fridge, dishes everything you’d need. They don’t supply paper towels or dish soap so would want to get that before heading to the area. There is a tiny store but it’s not very equipped. Also you’re in jungle wooden area lot of bugs ants mostly take bug killer. Staff excellent and helpful. You are not on the beach but you have private access to it just across the way....

The hotel itself is beautiful, relaxing, and perfectly set up for a laid-back beach stay. “The room was clean although there were ants crawling around. We were led to beleive the restaurant was open as the promotional info claimed they served cajun style food. When we arrived, it turnes out the restaurant hasnt even been built yet and there was also alot of construction going on daily.”

“Our family had a terrific time at this lovely property. The beautiful gardens were full of iguana and butterfly sightings and it’s just a 3 min walk to the beach. The included breakfast was quality and the rooms were simple but clean. Our kids loved the pool and we adults found paradise sipping the pina coladas delivered poolside. The private exited parking was also a plus as were the super friendly and helpful staff. Great find! ”
