We missed the peak fall leaves but that did not detract from the natural beauty of this area and we still enjoyed the waterfalls of Oirase gorge and the small loop around Tsuta pond greatly. "The room was rather large but bathroom was a squash. An XXL person would not fit in it. Room was clean and the view fantastic. As mentioned paying in excess of Y35,000 you would expect a full breakfast option- no Japanese food but toast and jam - that's it !"
