“Lovely stay at Ardwell Bed and Breakfast. Una and Morton made us feel very welcome. Facilities in room were good and breakfast freshly made. Morton even gave us a lift along to the village in the stormy weather which we are so grateful for. Would definitely recommend staying here”

“Linda is the perfect host, very welcoming and friendly. Exceptionally clean, great breakfast. I would 100% return”

“couldn’t fault it. lovely clean room, good food , outside area very well maintained and plenty of parking. would stay again.”

“Friendly and helpful staff and excellent food in restaurant. Nice Lochside location. Great location for visiting the nearby Dumfries House a short drive away.”

“Lovely hotel, great food, helpful staff and great spa!”

“Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. Also loud music heard in room in the morning as well.”

“We had a lovely stay. It was very comfortable and clean. We did not have a car so it was a little out of the way however the taxi service is very fast and dependable. Beautiful setting.”
