“We didn't have breakfast there. Bar offered a good choice of drinks. The extractor fan didn't work in the on suite but it was kept very clean. The stairs to the room were quite steep and the doors were very close together making it a little difficult to manoeuvre. The toilet was quite tall so shorter people may find their feet wouldn't touch the floor. The bed was very comfortable.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree. Lisa, the host was the main reason, she is a great communicator which is important when booking. She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. The area is beautiful but with only one night, we didn’t get the change to do much exploring. Next time. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay.”

“Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with our stay and experience. 1. Communication: Booked through Hotels.com but messages were sent via Expedia, which did not upload, meaning we did not get the accommodation access code, which we had to chase. Unable to sent messages on Guesty app. 2. Sofabed very uncomfortable. Needs a bed topper. Bed frame did not open fully, I think due to damaged/deformed frame. 3. Main bed frame has wooden features at the end, which means you can hurt your shin or toe...

“Very poor. We paid for a deluxe triple room as it was cheaper than a standard double, when we arrived the gentleman told us we couldn’t have that room as it was under occupied and would have to have another room. The room was poor Avoid this place ”
