“Matt the owner was very personable and interesting to talk to. Our room was upstairs but very quiet and although we had a shared bathroom we never once saw anyone else use it. Great location to walk to town and also to catch the train. A nice breakfast was provided for us.”
“Great for hikers on the CT or CDT. Room was nice. And bathroom clean and reasonably sized. The building is old with lost of character which means uneven floors and sound carries. Good location to walk to everything Silverton has to offer. No one at the hotel to check in so you have to call a number provided. Worked quickly ao no issues just not the norm.”

“This motel was absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed. We got there and had to go to another motel to check in because there was not a person there EVER! 1 room had the window wide open. About 5 other rooms were disheveled and had the lights left on. The hotel is in terrible disrepair. Our room was relatively clean but the shower didn’t work well and the window would not shut because it had a portable air conditioner hose sticking out. The air conditioner didn’t even cool the room.
