Pretty central for the areas we visited over a couple of days. Staff pleasant, room nice & tidy, had evening food which was good & what you would expect from a pub. I had the full English for breakfast, my wife had the avocado & egg on toast and these were very good value.

Beautiful place to stay. Made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Beth was a superstar and a true asset to the business. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was great. Room was very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our stay, including a few unexpected little touches to make our stay a great experience, such as a mini bar, fresh milk, USB charger, electric fan and more.

It was a nice pub originally built in the 1600s. Free parking and they are working on upgrades to the rooms. Our room had been done, but the cleaner had missed a couple of small things (previously opened sparkling water). But the staff was very accommodating and even booked us a table for supper, just in case we decided to have it there. Great service!!

Initially my stay was ok, large car park, friendly staff, nice big spacious room. The pub below does not serve food Mon or Tues (didn't know until it was time to eat). The staff are happy for visitor's to order food in. Breakfast - was in a bag (I was travelling alone) 4 x mini boxes of Cereal, 2 x cereal bars - no additional milk and no staff onsite in the morning. Check out - was easy, leave the key in the door.

We would not have booked here if we had known the Saturday breakfast was 9am to 10am. There is no information about breakfast times on the booking process. The TV was totally unusable as I do not have a modern PhD. I simply could not understand all this internet stuff. The Wifi speed was slow, less than 1mbps. Besides that, clean comfortable room, excellent real beer in the bar.
