Everybody that I encountered that was employed by this hotel was amazingly nice and helpful. The front desk helped me get checked in, the security guard helped me with unloading and parking and a random worker from the restaurant helped me when I I asked a question. This place is top notch.

The room was very comfortable, I am very picky about bedding and it was a nice sleep . The view was great from the 12th floor and the area was very quaint and walkable . Lovely hotel would come back for the next Bama game for a stay ! Roll tide !

Staff was so friendly and wanted to help. Easy parking. Choice of valet or parking self in garage. Specifically chose this hotel due to garage as traveling during a potential storm. My family and I have now stayed at this property on 4 visits and it is great! First of all, while the historic building is in great shape and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well decorated, THE STAFF of this hotel is what makes it so great. From the time you arrive until you check out, the valet, reception area, check in, housekeeping, and dining areas are staffed with a great, friendly and helpful team. It is always a great experience.

Great room. Very clean. Everyone i talked to was so nice. My only complaint was the shower head. Not much water came . And what did was in many directions. That being said. The room was very clean and same with the bathroom. Very comfy bed

Not so hidden gem

Wonderful hotel with art deco style. Great location. We were here for one night and it was perfect. The bed was so comfortable after a long drive. Wish we could stay and check out the fun downtown area.
