On a trip from Ohio to Chicago needed a clean, safe place to spend the night. This motel had a clean room, a place to shower and a comfortable bed to sleep. It was perfect for my needs.

It was alright

We stayed 1 night so we could go to the dunes. The check in was good and quick. You do have to put a $50 deposit down which was fine but not mentioned until we got to the hotel. The surrounding area was pretty sketchy, the A/C was broken felt like it was about 75 in the room so it was pretty warm, the maids clean at night and you can hear the vacuum and everything thru the door. Wasn’t a bad room was very clean but bring a fan if you like to sleep in a cool room!

I asked for Absolutely no smoke room and I got it. Room was splendidly clean utilities in there in perfect working order. Lobby is clean. The Third party operable soft drinks dispenser, needs to be better supervised. It sucked up my bills gave me change but no drinks. In totality the motel has my thumb up 👍

The one thing I really liked is that there were no bed bugs. However, there is a pool, an outside pool. Our stay was well received and had great encounters with the staff. They were accommodating and our stay wasn't too bad. The room could have used some maintenance, the water pressure was a bit low. There was some fixtures missing and the bath tub was painted, therefore making it a bit slippery and while taking a shower, the paint would fall off. If just staying for an overnight trip, depending on your choice of bells and whistles, it's a good stay. If you plan on staying longer and are picky, it's not for you. It's in a great location for shopping and restaurants.

Check-in was hassle free. Booked an accessibility room. We received exactly what was described on hotels.com. The price for the room is affordable compared to others in the area. Room is clean and accommodating. They have a washer and dryer on the premises. Snack and cold drink machines.

You get what you pay for

Its a ran down hotel. However the staff was nice, they allow pets and it wasnt that bad if you are looking for a dirt cheap place to stay for a night. I personally didnt see any bugs but that walls where dirty, the bed frame was gross the shower was stained so i didnt use it but we didnt plan on having to stay in town.

Check-In staff was polite & helpful. Room was ok. It's a Motel 6 so there were some holes in the curtain and cigarette burn in the blanket which isn't unusual for "The 6" My problem was at 8:15 AM the staff is talking in full blast mode right outside my room which was by housekeeping. When I asked them to please keep it down they chuckled and were a little quieter for about 3 minutes. Just don't get a room on the ground floor.

Definitely not the worst!

The room was decent. Restroom badly needs upgrades. Floor boards are missing in the entire Restroom. The tub is old and feels like its caving in when you step in the middle. We had 1 dry towel and 1 hand towel. No wash cloths were provided. The blanket on the bed had holes in it and was as thin as the sheets. The pillows were flat but the linen was clean and smelled fresh. I used my own blanket. The front desk gentleman was very polite and accommodating. The recent renovation looks great and I hope they continue to improve.
