Excellent breakfast, very friendly & helpful staff (This alone made it worth it). The Inn is is an older Victorian building with charm and a nice parlor for hanging out & having breakfast. Easy location to downtown (walkable but uphill on the way back), access to public transportation and ample parking. The breakfast was spectacular with a "starter: of a scone and fruit parfait, the main course changing each day-always good. They ask for and accomodate dietary needs. We stayed in the Duchess room, it had everything you need & a firm mattress! Building & decor is older antique with character. You can read about the history of the building and Inn in the parlor.

This hotel is like going back in time, to a time when hotel staff and amenities were Soley focused on the guest. This place is just magical. We were able to take advantage of the gold lounge with a fabulous view of the harbor and delicious hors d'oeuvres. The staff, from the bellhops to the check in desk to the waitstaff at the lounge and restaurants, are absolutely the politest, the most helpful group of any hotel we have ever been exposed to. Do not miss a chance to stay here when in Victoria.

This was a lovely place to stay, the hosts were the sweetest with amazing food prepared!! The only suggestion I would have is to maybe have a full length mirror somewhere in the room. Other than that minor detail I would 100%come back and recommend!!

Overall it was a great stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. The exterior does not do it justice. It looks really old but it is maintained very well. The free breakfast was solid. My family and I enjoyed it. Love walking out of the lobby and seeing deers on the property, made my heart smile!

You get what you paid for. Amazing hotel ,well maintained above and beyond . Everything was excellent.
