It was a very nicly restored old mansion. Very sweet and smiling staff. The bed was comfortable. The walk to the Revolition Monument was enjoyable and we felt safe. We will stay here again if we come back Mexico City!

We stayed at El Patio 77 twice on our trip - to and from Oaxaca. It was a beautiful stay both times. The staff and the decor are fabulous. We actually preferred our room with the shared bath. The one in the room didn't have a door. So we just used the one in the hall. Even though we have been married 26 years, we prefer doing certain things in private. 😀

El Patio 77 is such a great place to stay! The house is full of charm and in a really nice neighborhood, but the best part was the host, elvia and her staff. Super helpful with tips and quick to answer any questions I had, which made everything really easy. I felt very welcome and comfortable the whole time. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting Mexico City!

A home away from home

My 3rd time in the city and this was my favorite hotel of them all. I've stayed in 5 star hotels in reforma and condesa but yet this place was special. Beautiful design and touches, clean, and friendly staff. This feels like a more local authentic stay. Despite being a bit away from all the touristy neighborhoods, the neighborhood was safe and you can find plenty of good cafes and restaurants.

El Patio 77 is a magical place to stay while visiting Mexico City. The host and staff are very friendly. The courtyard and rooms are gorgeous. I can't say enough good things about the hotel and the neighborhood of San Rafael. Both have special places in my heart forever and I hope to return.

El Patio 77 was amazing!! Such a cute little hotel in a fabulous neighbourhood, I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Mexico City. Breakfast was included too, which I love, and they had an adorable little dog Bonito 🐶 te amo Bonito

Amazing B&B.

We loved our stay, it was convenient to many locations, the breakfast made fresh and different meals each day, the room was simple and modern and the staff was small but outstanding. We loved Ana our host who took take of getting us a private tour guide to the Pyramids, sent us a private chofer for our arrival at the airport and provided tons of recommendations to eat. Ana you're the best.

A lovely, peaceful, and homey stay; although the shower leaks onto the floor and we had to use an additional towel to clean it up each night. The noise at night from within the property was an issue. The kitchen staff was amazing as were the breakfasts they prepared and served, always with the most genuine of morning greetings .

Fabulous stay at El patio 77. Quant, stylish stay in a residential area of Mexico City but so close to all the major sites of the city. Such attention to detail. Room were spacious, well decorated and spotless. Elvira the manager was so welcoming and attended to your every need. Every morning you are greeted with a delicious breakfast, unlike any I’ve had at hotel ! Highly recommended El Patio 77 😁.
