“The rooms were very well cleaned and so was the hotel. The waterpark was awesome and was very nice for my two small children. The only problem during my stay was check-in . When we arrived at 4pm for check in we were told our room was not ready yet and that we would receive a text when it was. They allowed us still to go into the waterpark just a little inconvenient after you pay all that money to stay. 2 hours later by 6pm we still didn't receive a text so I went to the front where they told me...

“The pool area was terrific the only problem is that once 9:00 came they shut off all the lights around the pool and walkways. Then they put on these terrible red lights you couldn't see where you were walking to save your life. A couple times the security guards was walking around helping people with a flashlight so they can see where they were walking. I know they blamed it on the mayflies but they were gone I didn't see one when I was there last week”

“Very clean and well maintained. The TV was about 32 inches which isnt a big deal but its nice to watch TV in your room at night. The "beach towels" are tiny so take your own. Continental breakfast is "chilled food" so toast cereal yogurt. Kids in the adult pool most of the time. But overall for the price it was worth it.”

“Our room was dirty. Sheets had hand prints and makeup on the pillow cases. Black hairs in the shower. Shower curtain was dirty. Had to switch rooms and it still was not very clean. ”

“My husband and I came for our anniversary weekend. We got married at Cedar Point, but wanted to find some other places and things to do in the area. Anchor was a cute little place. When we first pulled in, the first thing I noticed were the beautiful (and real) flowers outside of each room. The property appears very nicely kept. “This is our 2nd stay here. We appreciate the 1hr early entry to Cedar Point. Location is close to the park and restaurants. The room seemed damp the first night, pillows, sheets, floor. Not sure if it was from the AC. The large freezer was nice to freeze some water bottles for our cooler. Overall nice stay and we will be back.”

“The location was great! Private beach was very nice. The office closes at 8:00 and that is where the ice machine is located, so no ice after 8. Could have been a bit cleaner, but overall, a great place to stay.”
