We had an awesome stay at The Hamilton- Hoppin House. The room was very clean and spacious. Our stay was during some of the coldest weather Newport has seen in years and the room was still nice and warm. The property has a ton of historic charm and still provides a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend Hamilton Hoppin House

Room was very clean and house was beautiful. GREAT location for going to downtown Newport/Mansions/Cliff walk/etc. Bed: mattress comfortable but wooden bed VERY squeaky. Loud squeaks woke you up every time you shifted position TV: could not get any local stations. Not a huge deal for us at all, but may be for others Electrical outlets: lamp on right-side of bed was not even plugged in bc there's no outlet. Understand that this is an older house, but having places to charge phone/iPad/watch/etc. on bedside table really should be a standard thing and there are MANY solutions for this (example: power outlet attached to back of nightstand [if you don't want them to be "seen"] with sockets and USB ports)

This wonderful house made us feel as if we were staying in a mansion! It was clean and spacious with easy check in and out. You can use the kitchen to cook your own meals if you feel like staying in. I would highly recommend if you are visiting Newport!

Wonderful restaurants nearby. Prompt response from staff when I had questions. Beautiful, elegant, safe, clean room and property. The full shared kitchen is large, clean and well stocked with ice, dishes, salt/pepper, cleaning supplies etc. The parking was easy and accessible. Check in and checkout was a simple process. I can not state enough how gorgeous the house itself is. It is 10 minutes or less to downtown Newport. I would stay again and again given the opportunity!
