If you don't mind watching Box Elder Bugs crawl up the walls and curtains, and intermittently flicking them off your friends while you catch up in the evening, or while you sleep, this is the place for you! While the setting is glorious, the colors beautiful, and the hot tub off the deck amazing, the bugs, while harmless, were over the top! When stating "bugs" in the listing" one should be far more transparent about the NUMBER of bugs INSIDE the residence.
Additionally, the service and responsiveness is sub-par. We had to dig around to find towels and TP for the bottom two bathrooms. The dishwasher wasn't unloaded. I think the service was never completed. No big deal. We can dig.
I called to report the bugs, and that we were about to run out of TP and garbage bags. I was told, the bugs are just part of being there in Sept/Oct. No spray, not help. The promised toilet paper and garbage bags were never delivered. The remaining garbage needed to be hauled out in boxes left over from our event. (Gratefully we had them or else!)
It's a stunning setting, the care and service dramatically dampened our enjoyment of that and the property.
