"Excellent stay - have stayed before at McDonald Villacana resort, but needed to be a little closer to Calahonda this time. The apartment we had was on the first floor with a sea view from the balcony. The apartment was larger than expected and had a large balcony too (big enough for a table with 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers without being cramped). An added bonus was the washing machine in the apartment. Food in the restaurant was great - wouldn't hesitate to use again or to recommend."

It is not serviced like a hotel so what you see on arrival is what you get for your stay. That being said, I only stayed for 3 nights so for a longer trip, maybe the towels are changed. "This is a super resort if you want peace and quiet without the distractions of "organised events". Even Reception is a 10 minute walk away at another Crown Resorts site. It is only a few minutes walk from the beach and several good restaurants.
