Andreola Central Hotel

"We were so pleasantly surprised at how well maintained this historic, old-world hotel was. When so many hotels have been modernized with cheap decor and Ikea-like furnishings, the Andreola Central has maintained its classic decor. Yet everything looks new because it is so well maintained. Drapes, upholstery, and carpets were spotless. Our spacious bathroom was done in beautiful Italian marble. The lobby has huge marble columns giving it a regal look. The staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful. Our waitress in the restaurant, Anna, was so courteous and friendly, despite our language barrier. The food was prepared with great attention to detail and was very reasonably priced. We noticed the hotel owner dining in the restaurant and keeping a watch on everything. The morning breakfast buffet was also delicious and plentiful. Finally, the location was very convenient to Milan Central Station…only a five minute walk. We highly recommend Andreola Central Hotel!"

"Good hotel, not much around as far as authentic Italian restaurants. We were there during the 2026 June heatwave and our room was nice a cool. Room was good, they only give you 2 pillows (not that great either) so you need to call down to get additional. The phone in our room didn't work so anything I needed I had to go down to the lobby. Had a little issue with my laundry, it was lost for a little bit, and didn't get done. The staff did a great job of tracking my laundry down and getting it back to me, once we found it I said I didn't need it washed which is why it didn't get done. The shower door didn't really shut so lots of water and the rain shower head leaked cold water, that part was no good. The last thing, they have a beautiful lounge in the lobby and a roof top lounge as well. For some reason during this heatwave they kept the roof open but never opened the lobby bar. You couldn't be on the roof for a drink at 5p because it was way to hot. Not sure if I would stay again, not because of a bad experience, more because I want more authentic Milan around the hotel. If you want walking distance to train and metro this is the place for you. Also if I went back I would reserve a bigger room, 150 sq/ft for two people is not a lot of space."

"Front desk staff-Carlita was so friendly and remembered me from my previous stay. Room was clean and quiet. Shower just adequate. Free TV with many channels was good. Location convenient. Not a fan of the breakfast-very generic."

"The hotel was very central and easy access to the historical sites. It was very clean and well equipped. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was ok, hot food was a bit cold and had been sitting in the hot plates for a while. The rooftop bar was fantastic."
