“A quirky guest house, not really a hotel, in an old building. The room was spacious and comfortable, although somewhat sparsely and quirkily furnished. The bathroom was large, modern and clean. Antoine, the host, was charming and helpful. A short walk into the town centre and cathedral makes this well situated to visit Coutance.”

“Amazing stay from start to finish. The staff was absolutely awesome—friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my entire stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The location is fantastic, especially if you’re visiting Normandy to see the D-Day sites. Everything I wanted to visit was easily accessible from the hotel. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Hotel Le Sainte Mère and will definitely be back soon. Five stars all the way!”

“Mooi rustig hotel . Parking goed . Electrocharging mogelijk . Top restaurant . Heel goed ontbijt”

“Bien ras”

“Super friendly hosts, wonderful locally sourced food. Very quiet and peaceful in a beautiful country side setting. My highest recommendation!”

“Great position. Excellent staff. Food also and excellent but we would have preferred a simpler menu with some choices for non- shellfish diners”
