"Bouceel Castle was a splurge stay for my wife and I but we only planned on staying 1 night in this area and it was well worth it. We were so impressed with our room, our view, the grounds, the decor... it was a shame we only booked one night. The highlight of course was learning about the history of the home and it's original owner. Very interesting and very sweet that he took the time to share it with us. What more can I say? "Bought groceries in the am....went out for the day. Came back in the evening to cook dinner. Unfortunately the refrigerator wasn't working. The meats we purchased were warm. We had to eat ramen noodles for dinner. The owner was very responsive and quickly replaced the refrigerator. "

"This was such a sweet place to spend the night and enjoy Mont Saint Michel at night after the crowds leave. It’s a small inn and the rooms are tiny but with nice bathrooms which made it all the more cozy snd romantic to retreat to. The view was awesome. We’d do it again in a heartbeat. The breakfast the next day was delicious with lots to choose from and was set in a lovely space with a great view of the Normandy coastal surroundings. It was Halloween the night we stayed. It’s by far not as commercial as the U.S. with very minimal decorations. But after the crowds of the day had left and the medieval streets were near deserted unseen people made werewolf howls into the night which was just about as delightfully fun as it could be! Can’t wait to return some day and stay with this little inn again!"
