Jacob and Richard and Ed were the only staff that were friendly and courteous. Our check-in was horrific. Upon checking in we were told that one of our rooms was not available as housekeeping left without cleaning it, it was 3:30pn. We called the day before to inquire about pool and hot tub as there were issues in past. We were assured they were operating. Hot tub was broken entire stay and pool was open for a half day only then closed sign was put up. We were told we would be contacted regarding compensation for the inconvenience. Never heard a word and upon follow up told sorry we aren’t the manager. Were in room 109 and the door needed to be body checked to close. Richard we met the first day, he was extremely helpful and catering. He told us he was just temporary helping out from Arizona.

The hotel itself was very nice-decorations are cute and all music/record themed. Pool was warm, breakfast was great. However, at about 6 PM musicians (using this term loosely) came in to have a concert. They all were screaming rock acts, several without actual instruments just backing tracks. Horrible, played until 9:45, not appropriate for children with the crowd they brought with. Have the concert in your lounge upstairs. Bad management choice there. Need to tell people this is happening, no notice when we checked in or signs anywhere. If you stay here, make sure you ask if they'll be having a horrible concert poolside

I have no issues with this hotel. Management is great. Only hiccup was that large area is having renovations done so I wasn’t able to get hot water for shower. BUT a small sacrifice to endure to improve the features for more years of great service to come. Great place.
