โStaying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!โ
โWhat a terrific setting nestled in the mountains outside of Cartaga.
The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room.
I spent most of my time on the deck.
Was clean and well maintained. โ

Le restaurant est correct mais sans plus les portions sont un peu trop grandes.
Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie trรจs confortable.
Le site est magnifique. Nous aurions aimรฉ rester plus longtemps.โ
โThis property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosรญ valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the familyโs orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop...
โAn incredibly beautiful place with gorgeous rooms, amazing birds, magnificent flora and delightful people. The restaurant was open 8 to 8 and the food was amazing. โ
โThis is a gem of a property in a beautiful mountain setting. The hosts are a wonderful Costa Rican couple who go above and beyond to provide an excellent experience and food. We stayed at about 10 spots while exploring the country in March and Curuba Lodge was one of our favourites. We can't wait to return.โ
โIts nor only an hotel, its the best place for the view (All room have a view on the mountain) and to relax with all there private trail and Jardin it's not only a Hotel it's a little after life paradise !! WOWโ
โOn hotels page it says food and drink, they have nothing! The address is totally wrong and way different! Whennohoned their number it was someone elseโs number but she sent me the actual address and said she has had many phone calls! I ended up leaving shortly after getting there as no food and totally not what says they have on the hotels.com page!! Wasnโt even offered a refund for my second night so didnโt even stay there but paid for 2 nightsโ
โThey have a small lake on property with row boat and walking trails which they charge extra for this.
Breakfast included ( Good ) but very limitedโ
