"It’s a pretty old hotel so I expected it to show its age a bit and it did. The thing that was dirty was our first batch of towels that were in our room when we arrived. There was makeup swiped across the first towel I grabbed when I stepped out of the shower and then the second one was clean. Then my husband took a shower and grabbed a towel that had clothing sticker tag stuck on it. We did go down to the front desk and get new towels with some warm cookies that night. Other than the towels the shower was really good and the beds were very comfy and they were clean. I checked everything thoroughly after the towel incident. The location was good for us. We wanted to be in a central location where we could visit with different family and friends while we were there. Overall, it wasn’t a bad place to stay. The staff were all really nice and hospitable. The parking was ample and free."

"This is an older hotel and, as such, so were the amenities. That being said, our room was wonderful! Everything worked without any problems. Good water pressure, hot water, and everything we needed for our brief stay. Despite the older hotel, it was very clean and well kept. Amazing place to stay when passing through or as a base camp for hiking the nearby trails"

"Hotel was immaculately clean. Staff was very friendly and kind. Hotel room not only appeared to be clean but also smelled clean. They had the hotel room set to a comfortable temperature when we got there instead of it being hot and sticky. Check in and out were both smooth and simple. Will definitely be staying again if we ever venture back to Johnson City."

"When I called re a florist in the area for fresh bouquet, the manager said he'd be happy to get their Gardener to cut flowers and make a bouquet for me. Wow, that was so nice! When it was brought to our room the girl would not take any payment. The flowers were lovely and went on my mother's grave. I really appreciate how they went out of their way for me. The room was spotless and the a/c worked very well. Plus we enjoyed having a living area and kitchen. We were within walking distance of quite a few restaurants as well which we enjoyed."
