"The breakfast consisted of old coffe, spoiled apple and orange juice, little debbie oatmeal cream pies, yogurt and a waffle maker. Would have given 5 stars if it were as advertised. "
"The carpet had lots of stains on it. The ice machines ine the whole place didn't work. The breakfast was very poor. Only cereal and bagels. Will not stay there again."
"This stay was unexpected because my Mom had to go to the hospital in Winston-Salem when she fell and broke her hip. We were traveling with our two small dogs and I had a difficult time finding a pet friendly hotel. Thank goodness I was able to stay at this location near the hospital.
Everyone at this Hampton Inn was so kind. Ariel allowed me to start some laundry until my room was available the day I was checking in. This was a tremendous help since we were headed home from an 8 day trip and didn't have many clothes that were clean remaining.
Nicholas helped me when the hospital changed the plans for my Mom's discharge time.
All the staff were super nice to my two pups, giving them love and helping look after them so I could grab a cup of coffee.
The room was spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable!
Loved the shades at night to block out all the lights from downtown.
The valet guys went above and beyond also helping me with the pups, advising me of places to walk them that were safe nearby and even dining suggestions.
Despite all the stress of the reason I was in Winston-Salem everyone at this Hampton Inn helped me to find time to decompress! Awesome stay!!"
"This hotel has improved a lot since the last time that I stayed there which was about 2 years ago. The lady that checked me in was super friendly and I loved the online check-in feature. The breakfast was delicious, I was not expecting a lot out of it but it was very good and hot. The hotel itself smelled much cleaner, and the bed was very comfy. The only thing that I had an issue with was that the TV would turn off if I turned off the lights in my room, and I did text them about it but they replied back after I had already gone to bed and since I was only staying one day I did not care that much. I wish there was more lights on the right side of the building, if you're looking at the hotel from the front to the right. And the area where you walk your dog was not well kept, I found lots of trash and there were no dog trash bags."
"Don’t walk but run away from this hotel. As soon as we entered the lobby, we were accosted by the horrible smell. The exterior door to the parking lot didn’t lock, the hallways had food spilled in them, the elevator was extremely slow and nothing was clean. When we opened the door to our room there was a cockroach in the hallway and another one in the bathroom. Needless to say the last thing we did was linger and eat breakfast. This area seemed very shady at night time as well and it is far off from the interstate. Go somewhere else!"
