"First stay with family — the hotel didn’t deliver.
Stayed here with my husband and 8-year-old. The hotel is nice, valet easy, and self check-in/out worked smoothly. Staff was scarce when needed. At the front desk, I asked which movies were rented and the attendant rudely said she didn’t know and made no effort to find out — unacceptable. The pool was our main reason for booking. We rented a daybed, but the water was nowhere near the advertised 80°F, cutting our pool day short. Tubes aren’t provided for the lazy river — we had to buy one for $25+tax. The QR code system didn’t recognize our reservation, so we had to manually add a credit card. We ordered food, waited, and it never came. A server finally stopped by, said she’d check on it, and retook our order just in case — that never came either. After 1.5 hours I requested a refund and the manager refunded the wrong order. We left early. Dining was mostly a miss. Seabreeze takeout arrived cold. Hussong’s late dinner was not great. Citizens was the highlight — good flatbread and chai latte. The room was basic but fine. We planned our entire trip around this hotel’s offerings and it simply didn’t deliver except the One show was AMAZING! The shark reef was nice. That we will recommend. However, we won’t be returning."
