"First stay with family — the hotel didn’t deliver. Stayed here with my husband and 8-year-old. The hotel is nice, valet easy, and self check-in/out worked smoothly. Staff was scarce when needed. At the front desk, I asked which movies were rented and the attendant rudely said she didn’t know and made no effort to find out — unacceptable. The pool was our main reason for booking. We rented a daybed, but the water was nowhere near the advertised 80°F, cutting our pool day short. Tubes aren’t provided for the lazy river — we had to buy one for $25+tax. The QR code system didn’t recognize our reservation, so we had to manually add a credit card. We ordered food, waited, and it never came. A server finally stopped by, said she’d check on it, and retook our order just in case — that never came either. After 1.5 hours I requested a refund and the manager refunded the wrong order. We left early. Dining was mostly a miss. Seabreeze takeout arrived cold. Hussong’s late dinner was not great. Citizens was the highlight — good flatbread and chai latte. The room was basic but fine. We planned our entire trip around this hotel’s offerings and it simply didn’t deliver except the One show was AMAZING! The shark reef was nice. That we will recommend. However, we won’t be returning."

"Short and to the point. First hotel I've ever stayed in that no coffee was available in the room or lobby. Had to walk a quarter mile to go stand in line for coffee. Was cold by the time I got back to my room. Sitting chair broke in the room. In three days, they never replaced it, very inconvenient. Many more complaints, but I'll stop there."

"Overall our stay was great. The things that were disappointing were the $450 “resort fee” PLUS a $450 deposit. There were not any extras included. No microwave, so had to go out eat for every meal. We even had to call and ask for clean towels. The pool was open for two of the days (understand it was early season). But we were not allowed to bring our own drinks in (even if we purchased them at the Flamingo) had to spend $20 per drink. My suggestion is just charge another $450 for the room instead of charging it the day we check in, sets bad tone for the minute you check in. Otherwise, the room was amazing. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Excellent views. Quiet and clean. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. "
