"We book the hotel on the same day and when we arrived, no one was there. We kept calling a phone number and after many attempts someone responded and came later. We had to wait by the road after the whole day of driving. It didn't feel like arriving to 4stars hotel but a not well organised B@B. "The staff at Masseria Le Lamie are fantastic. They genuinely want you to have a great holiday and they will go above and beyond to ensure that you have a wonderful time. The pool and lounge area is very relaxing and has olive trees to provide natural shade. The rooms are spotless and the bed is really comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant is also a lovely experience. You do need a car because Masseria Le Lamie is not within walking distance to the nearest town."

"Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved."

"I knew I was in for a noisy ride when they put me in a room behind the reception. I was right. The staff were very noisy from 7 in the morning. Big gap under the door so it felt like they were in my room. Then, low and behold, the cleaner just walked in at 830 without knocking. She didn’t apologise or even lock the door. "Stunning hotel in a beautiful location! Our room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the expansive gardens. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. Fab pool area, and recommend a massage and swim in the warm spa pool. Dinner was delicious and very good value, so much food! Breakfast definitely worth it, so many options including fruit from the estate. Very much hope to return one day…"

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Masseria Le Lamie. It’s in a very peaceful area and it felt like we were entering an oasis. We stayed in a luxury double room which had lovely features including a vaulted ceiling. The bathroom was modern, spacious and had a fantastic shower. The grounds are well maintained with lots of different seating areas and interesting objects dotted around the place. The outdoor pool was beautiful and set among olive trees. We spent our first day at the Masseria just enjoying the surroundings and we also did a 2hr pottery class which was really interesting and fun. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of things in the buffet. There is also a lunch and dinner menu available. We had dinner 3/4 nights and thought the food was excellent. Last but not least, the staff and service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, it really had the personal touch. We would definitely like to stay here again. "
