The accommodation was lovely - clean, warm and welcoming. The view of the sea is amazing and the location (near gates of castle but within the castle walls is unbelievably magical. Highly recommend!

The stay was in a good location and was comfortable and clean. However we had a top floor room and were woken up by very loud banging. Turned out they were replacing the roof and we were not warned. Management couldn’t credit us because we prepaid but they gave us breakfast. Not much we could do. ...

Explore the side streets and alleys. Get lost. The hike to the upper town is long, steep, and slippery so be prepared.

One of our favorite places in Greece. We spent 3 hours hiking around the ruins in Upper Town. We went swimming just outside the sea gate. No beach but lovely. There are no cars allowed in town so it's a nice place to walk and hang out.

Is is a dream place. Literally a castle in an island. It is rather quiet in winter, many restaurants where closed during the week. Excellent dinner at Voltes (right at the entrance of the castle). Walking up to the Citadel was worthwhile the view.
