"I enjoyed a very pleasant five-night stay at Red Roof Inn. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, the A/C was great, it was very quiet, and everything was very clean. I liked having the small fridge and microwave so I could have some of my own food instead of always eating out. The location was very good for me. There is a good Mexican restaurant right at the motel, a Chinese restaurant half a block away, and a Waffle House across the street. I liked walking to the nearby Ingles supermarket to buy fresh food. The breakfast was basic, but the coffee was good and I liked that fresh fruit was included. There is a large, lovely courtyard which I enjoyed as well. All of this, and a great price as well!"

"On our trip we booked this hotel for 2 rooms. The walls could use a good cleaning to remove spills or condensation drops in the bathroom area. The lobby was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The beds were comfy and soft. The a/c stayed cold. It does cut off once it gets so cool but will turn back on a short time after. The pool is closed but you are able to use the pool at the neighboring hotel (comfort suites). The pool is indoor with a spa/hot tub. This portion was taped off with caution tape. Inside this part was vomit. It was there around 4:30pm and was still there around 9:00pm when we went back."

"This is a motel by the side of a busy road with a new attached atrium. The pool is small and gets full very quickly. Parking is free. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and cool but there is no elevator. There are vending machines for soft drinks and snacks. The buffet breakfast is good and filling, with fruit like oranges and bananas and waffles as well as scrambled eggs and biscuits with gravy. Main restaurants are in downtown Macon, about 3 miles away. Adequate for 1-2 nights but not for a longer stay."
