"Nice hotel, great view of the river. Only negative was the bridge to Washington not far away, seemed to be made of some metal and noisy with cars crossing. Once it got dark, wasn’t too bad."

"Our room was very clean and neat. The staff was wonderful and very easy to talk to. Emily in the women’s bath and wrap area was so peasant and kind. We attended a wedding at Skamania Lodge but by far we enjoyed the Carson stay much better than the Lodge. We would love to Return again should the occasion arrive."

"We loved the funky old time ambience. The breakfast at Broder was great! It’s an old building, but very clean and well maintained. It’s definitely a top choice if you like the early period architecture. Staff were top notch. It was an easy, pleasant stay."

"I absolutely LOVE this hotel! This is my second stay in a month as i travel to Hood River every 2 to 3 weeks for work. The rooms are wonderful with lovely showers and comfy beds. The lobby bar is HOPPING- on a Wednesday night the place was full and they have a house band, too! The soaking pool is so relaxing and never crowded. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone making a trip to this lovely town!"
