Feeling Scammed and need support from Hotels.com!

I paid over $1800.00 to stay at the Grandiosa between 5/26-6/15/20 and they were not open for business due to COVID-19. I have made numerous calls with no response. Hotels.com have tried as well with no response. I don’t believe that they are still a functioning hotel. I am demanding my money back and I demand that Hotels.com intervene and make sure that my money is returned! So far I have been told that my money is non refundable. How can this be so if I never received what I paid for to no fault of my own. I wanted to book for a later date but As I stated they have not returned my calls or Hotels.com. I feel scammed and feel this to be fraudulent practices. I am a senior citizen who thought that I could depend on Hotels.com to ensure fair practices by the hotels they advertise. The jury is still out!

Bueno, la cama muy cómoda para dormir, el resto necesita renovarse y los que venimos de fuera, por el jet lag, necesitamos tomar café o desayunar muy temprano y no hayningun lugar ,ni en el hotel ni cerca hasta las ocho a.m para poder hacerlo, y esa hora es ya la hora del almuerzo en europa. Poner minimo, una máquina expendedora de cafés, gracias.

It’s ok for me. As I was out all the time, construction is going on during the day and this is due to the fact to expand and makes the property a more better place. Very affordable and cheap compare to other hotels around, very close to Doctors cave beach, hotel, and the main town.

I will come back.

The staff was amazing. Not rated 5* simply because the hotel is under renovations. It is a lovely hotel and the pool is terrific. The renovations will make the hotel even better especially with the addition of an elevator. They had free tea and coffee along with use of a microwave because the restaurant is currently closed. They offered free shuttle to a nearby restaurant for breakfast which was nice. For dinner we walked to Peppa’s restaurant about one block away. Very lovely setting and yummy food. The staff at Grandiosa were very pleasant and accommodating. I will stay again. Can not wait to see the completed Reno’s.

Every time was bad room was a mess they don’t clean your room properly formal over there having renovation nobody tells you when your book deal that they was having renovation you cannot get hot water it was totally a mess going back there one percent

Should be closed during renovations

They should not be open to guest right now during their renovations. They start banging at 7am and it goes ALL DAY. The restaurant is closed, the bar is closed, and your afraid to get in the pool because they are doing construction. Its not close to anything (except the airport) so you have to walk down the street to find anything. The staff is okay, its not their fault. I should've read the reviews and paid attention. If your reading this, DO NOT STAY THERE until they confirm the renovations are done. The hotel is probably beautiful when they are in full operation.

Property under major construction. It’s a tip. Dust everywhere. Online Photos of rooms very misleading. Very disappointing. Ceiling/player peeling in bathroom and closet. Door lock and safety chain was flimsy and inferior. 0n a positive note: AC worked great. Bed linen was clean and fresh smelling.

I like how private the property was compared to other hotels. The property was under renovation and I was not aware. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, there is no wifi in the rooms, only in the common areas, which was ok. I'd visit again after the renovations are complete though.

This property is undergoing renovation so there was a fair amount of noise during the daytime. Additionally, the restaurant at the property is closed during the renovation. Though they do provide a shuttle service to their sister property, I found it very inconvenient.

Very clean swimming pool and amazingly friendly staff. The property is under renovation at this moment so it's understandable that all hotel functions, such as kitchen and overall facility neatness, but Grandiosa Hotel is going to be great when work's done!
