"This hotel, which is also a museum, is owned by the 9th generation of the same family. Mostar is busy and bustling, but in an anonymous side street, maybe 0.5 mile from the centre of town, is this oasis of calm and quiet. Our room was quirky, but great. Well cleaned and maintained with good air-conditioning (hot and cold if required). Breakfast was simple and delicious and the staff cannot do enough to help you. If you want to step away from chain or identikit hotels, this is the place to stay. One small note of caution, we arrived very late and sat nav took us to the door, but we couldn't see how to get in. If this happens to you, face uphill, the turn 1/4 to your left. There are two very big wooden doors. The entry is the right hand door, will a bell if you need assistance."

"If you want to be in the heart of the old town Mostar, but down a quiet side street, this is absolutely the best location. Fedja, our host met us and our car a few blocks away with a smile, to help drive our car down the steep, narrow cobbled road to the Villa Nur. Our room on the second floor was small, but spotless. The first best feature was a balcony overlooking the River and a beautiful view. The second best feature was the abundant hot water for showers."

"I arrived late and the owner was so helpful! My room was clean. There was beer, pop and water on site for purchase. The location is ideal to Old Town. I could see the Crooked Bridge out my window. There are pubs and eateries close by. My stay was short but sweet! I felt very safe as a solo female traveller."
