"Great overall stay and restaurant next door is a must try"

"The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast selection was excellent. We were very satisfied with those aspects of our stay. However, during our two-night stay, we experienced an inconvenience with our room keys. On the second day, after returning from our trip, we tried multiple times to enter through the side door closest to our room, but it would not open. We had to walk around to the main entrance instead. When we arrived at our room, both of our room keys did not work. We returned to the front desk, and the staff reactivated the keys for us. They mentioned it might have been accidentally deactivated or affected by being too close to a cellphone, but since neither key worked, we are not sure what caused the issue. Aside from that incident, everything else met our expectations."

"Hotel was in a great location, right next to the library and only about a ten minute walk to the Pike Place Market. It is on a very steep hill so be aware of that. Only about two blocks away from a light rail station. We stayed in a king bed room. Nicely sized, bed was comfy. Downsides were that the AC did not work at all. The room was so stuffy the whole trip. The bathroom was fine but had no ventilation so everything got super steamy and damp as soon as the water turned warm. All in all, would rate it a 8/10"
