"Valley river inn was the happening thing back in the nineteen seventies, and it still maintains that classy " best place in town" atmosphere. It is situated on the Willamette River and as close to shopping and other amenities. It's where I stay when I come down to recreate in my old hometown!"

"We stayed here for a wedding we had in town and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The hotel match the description exactly and the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very kind and extremely helpful. They made this experience extremely easy and stress free. They gave us free coffee vouchers for their onsite coffee cart and it was delicious. We will definitely be returning and recommending this independently owned hotel to friends and family(:"

"Very nice hotel. Front desk staff was excellent and friendly. Only issue with the ADA accessible room was there was not enough room to navigate on the right side of the bed. So I was forced to sleep on the left side. Oh well, just a small thing. Breakfast was magnificent! So happy you are extending it until 10 AM."

"We arrived very late and the gentleman that checked us in was very gracious and kind. He gave us great directions to our room and even showed us a parking spot on his video of the back parking lot. That also made me feel very safe. I love rooms with laminate floors. They feel so much cleaner to me. This room was spotless and it was a nice size. I also appreciate and love a toilet/shower that is in a different room then the sink. It makes mornings go so much more smoothly. We're not into breakfast so the fact they didn't offer it didn't matter to us. We come to the Albany area every year and we'll be sure to stay here again!"
