“This is a pub with rooms, so not a hotel. But, wow it is absolutely at the top of the scale for pubs. Room was perfectly clean and had as good a view as you could find anywhere in the world. Location, perfect, parked at the nearby harbour carpark, not overly expensive. Bar staff were great, evening food was great, four real ales on tap, all delicious. Great choice at breakfast and again lovely staff. I would seriously give this accommodation 11 out of 10. 100% recommended.”

“I used The Dolphin Tavern for 1 night with my wife. The location is walking distance from Penzance Station(about 10 minutes.) However, my Google Maps App had problem with the location so it took more than that. The room was great. It might be inconvenient for some people as it does not have any elevators but it seems like only 2 floor building. So, unless you have a large luggage, it won't be a problem. However, due to the Tavern's history the water facility was quite noisy. When I flushed...

“We checked in but didn’t stay here. We gave the key back as soon was we reached our room, this is a sports bar which is fine if you are told this when booking. The rooms are filthy with stained bedding. We Asked for a refund as we needed to stay elsewhere but have not had any feedback from them or expedia. Not a happy customer as we use Expedia regularly. They need to look at who they endorse and refund when appropriate.”
