“ The Longboat Inn is very close to Penzance Station and not too far from the harbour, so very well situated. The room was clean and very comfortable, and the shower worked well. My room overlooked the main road, and was subject to some traffic noise (mainly from one idiot with an excessively loud motorbike who seemed to be riding up and down the road), but I had a very good night's sleep. “Got a fantastic clean and comfortable room looking out to sea. Staff were helpful and kind.”

“This is a pub with rooms, so not a hotel. But, wow it is absolutely at the top of the scale for pubs. Room was perfectly clean and had as good a view as you could find anywhere in the world. Location, perfect, parked at the nearby harbour carpark, not overly expensive. Bar staff were great, evening food was great, four real ales on tap, all delicious. Great choice at breakfast and again lovely staff. I would seriously give this accommodation 11 out of 10. 100% recommended.”

“We checked in but didn’t stay here. We gave the key back as soon was we reached our room, this is a sports bar which is fine if you are told this when booking. The rooms are filthy with stained bedding. We Asked for a refund as we needed to stay elsewhere but have not had any feedback from them or expedia. Not a happy customer as we use Expedia regularly. They need to look at who they endorse and refund when appropriate.”

“Upon arrival we we greeted & shown to our room. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean, just what we wanted. After a good nights sleep we had breakfast in the bar and was pleasantly surprised to find that we had a choice of breakfast, we ordered a full English and avocado on toast with poached eggs & bacon.
