"Overall the stay at this hotel was good, but I did encounter some issues, the biggest of which was the AC unit in my room. It made random, loud scrapping and rattling noises when on which made sleeping harder, but as I always sleep with white noise, having it off wasn't even really an option. Besides that, one burned out light, the TV remote not working (not an issue as I don't watch TV) and the vending machines only accepting cash, the stay overall was very good and a fantastic value for the price. Staff was helpful and quick to respond. For the price, I am still very likely to stay here again on my next visit to Grand Rapids."

"clean and neat and a HUGE room for the price. Only downside was the king bed with a very thin mattress that was not very comfortable. All in all a great price for a huge room, including a large bathroom with a tub. Breakfast was better than most free ones."

"Convenient location in downtown Rockford. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, walking paths. Parking is on-street or a nearby lot. Note that the hotel restaurant is not open Sunday and Monday. Clean rooms and comfortable bed but it we were not able to cool the room adequately."

"I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a bargain place to stay in the Grand Rapids area. You have to have some patience, as it is an older Hotel and they are doing their best to upgrade it and maintain it. They may need a better maintenance staff, but they are very gracious and helpful. There will be things that don’t work quite right, but I can live with that. For me to have access to Grand Rapids with an a 10 or 12 minute drive it’s worth all of it. If you are not super fussy and you just need a place to yourself to crash for a while. It’s perfectly fine. I feel safe and a family run business."
