Staff was helpful and sweet and breakfast was good, but the hotel itself needed a serious upgrade. Carpet was old and torn. Beds were uncomfortable and neighbors were loud.

Do not stay here! Arrived and the outside didn’t come close to the picture. Went inside and checked in. Went to elevator and wasn’t sure if it was going to work. Dirty inside. Got off of elevator and what a mess. Looked like a war zone. Got to room and oh my, that was a shock. Went to the bathroom and no toilet paper holder. Got my husband to get me some toilet paper. The beds were sitting on metal rails. Turned the TV on and it didn’t work. Went to call downstairs to the front desk and picked up the phone and it was not working and then realized that it was just sitting on the table. No plugs whatsoever!! Went downstairs and told him what was happening. Went to eat ( took our luggage with us) came back and nothing was taken care of. We did not feel safe staying there. We went out and was lucky that we were able to find a place to stay. Myrtle Beach on a Friday with no reservations, we were very lucky. So you can take a chance and stay there but I totally do not recommend it!!!!!

When I first got there they gave me a room that was not clean there was sop from last gess and the room smell like week then they gave my another room and gave me a room that was a lot worse the shower was leaking a lot and the sinck neck to the mine fridge was leaking on the floor and the people that go there all smell like weed at night the hallway smell of weed and are room did to so I wood want my money back all of it I stayed for a week I wood not spend 5 dollars at this hotel

Staff unwilling to address issues, and referred me to management. Management not available. Had to leave a message for management to call me, which they never did before me checking out. Have called several times since then - not returning calls. Or, "unavailable". Room was of course prepaid but unfit for customer use. No working shower - not discovered until the morning. Sink clogged and not draining. The refrigerator was unplugged to defrost - the carpet was soaking wet from the defrosting. Not as critical, but curtain would not close (broken), and light from outside at night kept the room from being dark. Also, TV had dark image spot in the center of the viewing area. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Carpet was very dirty which was evident from white socks. They were doing "renovations", however this room should not have been rented out. After 11PM check-in. Was told no more rooms were available, even though this was showing as an available booking. Stay and deal with later, or cancel and not be refunded and go elsewhere. Didn't know the condition of the room upon check-in.

First, I would stay here again. Clean room, bathroom. Comfortable bed. Quiet. My window overlooked much greenery. The price was terrific, and I got a breakfast that was decent for said cost. Could there be more TLC for the place? Yes, then rates would certainly have to be increased. For me, I am fine with a low-cost stay that comes with cosmetic "imperfections." As noted, I would stay there again.

The room was clean, but that’s about it. They were “renovating” everywhere and the pool and fitness room were both closed which was not advertised anywhere. The breakfast was ok, nothing special and the location is convenient. If they actually finish the renovations and reopen the amenities, it’ll be a great spot

The property is undergoing a major renovation. While my room was very spacious, generally clean, and had recently been renovated, it lacked a closet, clothes hangers, a desk chair, a towel bar, and toilet paper hanger. When I asked for clothes hangers and a wash cloth, the front desk attendant gave me the hangers, but said they didn't have wash cloths. If I have know the property was undergoing a major renovation, I would have stayed somewhere else.

I was disappointed with our stay overall. We arrived about 30 minutes after the posted check in time, but there was no one at the front desk. After waiting around 10 minutes, I had to track down a member of housekeeping to help locate the front desk employee. Throughout our stay, I noticed several other guests experiencing the same issue. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was for the indoor pool, but it was closed during our visit. It would have been nice to know that before arriving, especially since we were traveling with kids. Breakfast was also frustrating. We went down at the posted start time, only to find that it didn’t actually begin until about 30 minutes later. On a positive note, the room itself was clean and comfortable. However, the bathtub faucet was loose and would pull away from the wall, which should definitely be repaired. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the lack of front desk availability, unexpected amenities being unavailable, and poor communication made for a less than satisfactory experience.

The room itself was clean, but the pool and fitness center are closed which was not advertised. They’re “renovating” so there are boxes and messes everywhere. Very little parking, the elevator looks like something out of a horror movie, very old, very scary. The hall carpets are dirty and it basically looks like they’ve bandaided everything to stay open while renovating. For no more than we were in the room it was fine, and again the room itself was clean. The free breakfast was ok, few options but still free and available. If you won’t be there much, it’s good for a quick getaway.

It seemed like a lot of things were being remodeled or worked on . One ice machine in the whole place, which happened to be as close as could be to my room so all night we got to hear everyone get ice and the funny thing we didn't have a ice bucket in our room. The blanket on one of the beds had a tear right in the middle. The fridge was missing the freezer cover so things froze in the fridge. The TV worked fine, the air worked well, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the breakfast area was good and maintained, the front desk had someone there. People were making a lot of noise all night yelling and talking loud like from one to another down the hall, don't know if anything was ever done.

They never came and cleaned are room. The pool was closed the ice machine was out of order everything was nasty and when I ask them to clean my room she gave me the sheets and I did them and so we left 2 days early and when we was leaving nobody ever came to the counter to check us out so I left the keys on the counter. I never complain about anything but this was crazy and they was just 4 people working there. This was the frist time I took my grandson on vacation and he loves to swim but we went to the beach and he don't want to stay there that long who does and he was ill because we didn't have a pool . I was very disappointed. We go to the one in Anderson SC every other weekend to take my grandson so he can swim and they are awesome. We love them in Anderson at the country inn suites but not at the beach . But yall do what yall have to. Because I know they want do anything and I am not mad at yall I just upset with the way we was treated. Thank you Sherry Brown

They don’t even deserve a 1 rating!! Would not recommend AT ALL! Pictures are EXTREMELY MISS LEADING TO CUSTOMERS!! This Hotel is a joke! They are under renovations and nothing was mentioned to us. No amenities are working. Breakfast area is dirty and disgusting smells. The floors are dirty, furniture is VERY disgusting and would not sit on it. Our first room smelled of smoke and when called front desk they didn’t believe me and gave me a hard time for another room which also smelled. Comforters, sheets and towels all had brown stains on them. It was a nasty and filthy hotel! Most of all they can’t even get a new American flag! It’s all raggedy and looks 30 years old!

Stains on the couch, carpet and drapes. Lumpy bedding and linens. Worst one night stay for $200. A red roof or motel 6 would have been cleaner and nicer. Staff was nice. Very trashy look outside and in. Very shocked that Expedia would even want to advertise this hotel under their name. Does the Radisson know this location is this poor of quality.

This hotel is dirty, has a very unpleasant odor upon entering, and not maintained at all inside and outside. There was garbage in the stairwell and the door to the outside was not secured. I understand that they are renovating it but it should be closed until they are done and able to clean it up. The pool was not open. The fitness center was not functional. The internet was not functional in our room. Our room number was on the floor outside our room when it should have been mounted on the wall. inside room 502, one smoke detector was hanging by its wires and the other one was covered with a plastic bag. We had a 2 bedroom suite- one of the rooms was missing its TV and the AC unit did not work.There was no clothes rod for the hanging clothes. The breakfast area was very dirty including the chairs, the tables were stabilized by pieces of cardboard under the feet. This property is a disgrace to the name Radisson and the Choice Hotels company. I believe that I should receive a full refund of $233.00 for our stay.
