A beautiful property. Beds and rooms were comfy and all the necessary amenities in the kitchen were included. Was a long walk to the beach access, but we needed the exercise! Only thing I would suggest is that the restaurant offers lunch in addition to breakfast.

With the knowledge that all units at Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort are independently owned, and after seeing mixed reviews about the condition of the various properties, we actually had an overall good experience with the unit we booked via Expedia. The only 2 minor annoyances(?) were: 1. The King size bed seemed to be out-fitted with Queen size sheets and comforter, based on our experience owning a King bed at home. 2. The bathroom light over the vanity required multiple flips of the on/off switch each time to fully illuminate.

Our Seaside Suite was beautiful and looked like it came straight out of an upscale beach magazine. The pool was great for our 8 year old son and just a quick 2 min drive to beach on property was great. Really nice pickleball courts, restaurants and ice cream shop. Food Lion is right across the street which was perfect for beating the crowds. We travel monthly and are looking forward to returning to Litchfield Properties.

The staff was excellent. We stayed in the summer house. I feel like through expedia you really don't understand what you're getting. The summer house is not on the ocean. It's either the pool view or a bit of a pond view. And it's a 5 minute drive to the ocean.

This isn't a true resort. Its an amalgam of unleased condos over three miles from the beach. You have to drive everywhere and the owners of the condos treat you like second class citizens, a necessary irritation. The photos they show are NOT where you will be staying, The photos are of a resort within the Lichfield community that you cannot access - please read the fine print. Lazy river, big pool, playgrounds, all lies. Don't make the same mistake I did. They are unapologetic about it too. Some of the properties are 10 miles from the beach. I must have apologized to my wife and grandkids 50 times.

Overall the resort was very nice and we loved the pool and shuttle service to the beach. The only thing that I felt needed improved was the ability to get things like clean towels & TP (we had 4 adults and 2 kids in our room & only given 1 roll each time we asked). I did book through a 3rd party app, so that may have been why some of the communication was lacking since I did no book directly through the resort itself. I was very pleased with our stay though!

The pool and pond area are nice - loved watching the turtles and even watched a heron catch a couple of fish! The employee working the beach shuttle and the pool was very helpful and friendly. Only negative was the fact that toilet paper is not supplied in the room once you run out. Thought that was strange!
