"The room was spacious for we had an efficiency, had to get a new stove delivered to the room (pretty quick in doing so) burners were not working. The pool was amazing and the lazy river (which is in the other building) kept children busy for hours. The walk to the beach was short (it’s right there) some of the staff could use a refresher course on customer service. Aside from that I will give an overall of 4 stars"

"Micheal at the front desk was fantastic and helped our family out after having bad flights before getting in. Made us feel relaxed and comfortable. He knew the area very well and recommended a great restaurant right down the road. If we ever come back to myrtle beach we would definitely stay again!"

"The person at the front desk when I checked in, was not very friendly. After traveling all the way across the country, you would hope to see someone smiling and eager to welcome you to the Property. That was not the case. The room was OK, the view was great, the price was reasonable"

"The location is wonderful, great atmosphere. The only thing I didn’t appreciate on this trip was the rules of the County and has nothing to do with Holiday Inn. The Lifeguards are horrible, it seems as if they are more concerned with everything else but people in the water. Here’s an example, it started thundering and lightning around us, no rain. What do the lifeguards do? They start putting up life jackets and the jet skis BEFORE THEY PUT UP THE RED FLAG AND ORDERED PEOPLE TO GET OUT. I understand they got a job to do and they need a clear view (umbrella mandate and staying behind the line) but their first instinct in a storm was jet skis and LifeJackets? That tells me that they’re more concerned with what keeps money flowing instead of souls. LACK’S IS 👎"
