The rooms and ryokan lobby were charming, the gear and drying room were great and the staff were so nice and helpful! There were some stains on the tatami mats but the extra bedding was appreciated. The breakfast was just okay in terms of taste but we were happy to have it! Some free real coffee rather than instant would have been appreciated. Also, the Onsen was nice but it would have been better utilized if it was hot in the morning prior to skiing and in the afternoon earlier. (after 2?) Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return, arigato.

No cleaning service despite staying 4 nights. Common bathrooms not clean. No pleasant common area when not in room. The property is very overpriced.
