“Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. The private trail was a moderate hike to a gorgeous waterfall and was a great taste of the beauty of the area without the crowds of Tenorio. Our 6 year-old loved seeing the red-eyed tree...

“It is a bit off the beaten path, but worth it. It is in the jungle away from other touriats. We were able to get transportation essily to all the nearby activities. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good and a number of choices. The restaurant had delicious food available for supper.”

“The location and property are absolutely beautiful! Incredible views! The grounds are kept meticulously! The rooms are clean and neat. The rooms are simple and yet elegant at the same time. The staff were very forgiving of my limited Spanish. A little harder to get to but worth the drive. The restaurant on property was excellent. Just a small sidenote… There was no air conditioner in my smaller room. I knew this going into it and the nice breeze that was almost constant.”

“It was an interesting stay. The free breakfast is not what we expected and seems like they stretch it with adding water to the yogurt. The beds were very uncomfortable and our sheets were dirty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful. I do not recommend this as a place to stay longer than 3 days. It was just ok in my experience.”
