"The room was clean when we got there but no o e cleaned our room for the 5 days we were there. We had to ask cleaning staff in the hallway for more towels. They only opened up the Starbucks on the property when the hotel was more full or had a convention going on. The pool was great. The room was clean. The AC worked great but was extremely loud."
"Stayed here for a convention. It’s a little bit of a walk but the cutest hotel! Lovely staff and the historic nature of it preserved into the rooms. The only downside with some of these historic buildings is some of the noise that comes through. Lots of creaks, and a bit more noticeable when people drop things staying right above you but other than that we loved this hotel and will definitely be back when we travel through the area again!"
"Dutch Wonderland Inn was a great hotel experience for a family of four with two younger kids under five. The pools and splash pad were clean, accessible, and supervised properly, with a big bonus of a fun water slide. The room is nice, AC worked well, beds were comfortable. Breakfast I. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Kids loved the arcade. It is walking distance to the park which is a bonus. We would stay here again."
"The hotel is nice and clean; staff are all very helpful, kind, and friendly. Rooms are clean; bathroom is good (flush power is adequate). Hotel soap is very soapy! It takes time for it to come off your hands. TV has a lot of HD channels (but I brought my Roku and plugged it in to watch my shows). Wifi is free; Bed is good; mattress is good for bad backs and pillows and blankets are adequate and clean. AC is strong too. It's quiet at night; no one is screaming or thumping on the walls. It's also pet friendly! (woof!) I really liked that the hotel was located just minutes from stores/shopping centers/restaurants/Dutch Wonderland etc. You can literally just walk to the Waffle House, Olive Garden, or Lost Treasure Golf and Maze. In terms of amenities, there is free breakfast from 6-9am. It includes all sorts of bread options, oatmeal (with fixings), scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, sausage gravy, pancakes, yogurt, coffee, juice. Free coffee is available 24 hours a day. They have an indoor heated pool that starts from 3.5 ft and goes all the way to 5.5 ft. It is small so it can get crowded especially in the evenings. I was a bit disappointed with the fitness center (4 cardio machines and 1 functional trainer...but it was out of order for the entire time I was there). Overall, it's really meant as a place to rest/sleep/have free breakfast and then you spend the day outside. I'll definitely come back to this hotel."
Fairfield Inn by Marriott Kennett Square Brandywine Valley
8/10 Good
"The only issue with this hotel is getting in and out of it from the road. Its just kind of awkward. And we wished there was a hot tub, but we did enjoy the pool. Breakfast was good and the lady that checked us in was very polite and helpful."
